I went out and detected my yard for about and hour tonight and since there was so much moisture in the ground, my detector was acting kinda screwy. Despite that, I did dig a couple neat things. Check this out.

A cool Chuck E. Cheese token from 1997 and a 30-06 (?) bullet. How did a bullet this big make it into my back yard in a residential neighborhood? Wierd....since it doesn't appear really old.

I dug this at about 6 inches. I have no idea what this is.........if you do, please let me know. Thanks all and Happy Hunting!!

Cool finds, you just never know what you'll find. God I love this addiction ;D
The aluminium piece is off a carburettor, Fairly sure about that
Cheers Paul

nice digs cool token

the bullet is unfired so maybe it was pulled out to get the gun powder from the casing

the piece under it is to me part of a music box,

Great finds !!!

The bullet is defiantly unfired.

I remember helping the police search for evidence in a "great part of town" and they were very interested in how many bullets that we found in the parking strips, many were unfired but there were several that had been fired. I have found freshly fired cases on street corners where we detect. Our cities in many cases are true battle grounds.
