Another Awesome weekend. 1700's and 1800's covered once again
Was able to get back out to the site that had produced finds from my previous threads ( first weekend out in 2014 doesnt disappoint.) the ( British 65th Officer button In Excellent Shape. ) and ( looks like a couple king george II coppers )
This weekend was just as exciting as the past few trips through.
The weather made for some good hunting conditions, and was able to get out for a hunt Saturday and sunday afternoon. over the period of about 5-6 hours was able to cover several centuries worth of currency and relic representation.
Managed to pull out my most detailed 1700's coin, its a 1760 Hibernia
A couple 1800's pennies. one is a nova scotia penny, its an 1861
The other im not sure of... its got a ship pictured on it, and im not sure of the bust. can see "penny" on side with bust.
FINALLY got my first silver quarter with the older design on it
its an 1899. thats one that can now be crossed off the list
picked up a 1939 nickel and looks like 1946 penny in the same hole... lost from the same pocket me thinks!
also found a pretty large silver plated button. the shank is missing off the pack, and theres bit of a design on outter edge.
Am pretty happy with the haul so far from this spot, and it only seems to keep giving!

I also had a friend from home out with me, and he had equally as successful of a hunt, and am hoping to get some of his pictures to post as soon as he gets them to me, or encourage him to make an account and post his own finds
