Snuck in a short water hunt after the storms this evening. Found lots more lead incuding tons of little rounballs including the two still molded together. Found an early leather ornament as well as a really nice single loop 17th century buckle that you dont see often. It was found above the high tide line and likely recently eroded from the bank being that it has a nice green patina. And yes, Spanish cob #4 from here. A Mexico City half real weighing about 1.4 grams. :headbang:

As much as I like digging early silvers(who doesn’t), I really enjoy finding early buckles just as much

Yeah this is really good site and I was beginning to think I got it all but if I keep at it their might just be a few more keepers in there. Best site Ive found since my seated field over two years ago

Outstanding!! Love what's coming out of your water site

Nice finds! I'm curious about the lead balls. Are those from a buckshot mold, the sprues still attached?

Nice finds , do you have any guesses as to what occupied the site that long ago or any back history? Awesome relics to be coming out of the ground after hundreds of years of being lost.
