I found this in my backyard. I think that it is brass...see pic #2... I have found many harness buckles and horse and ox shoes in the area. It is approximately 2.75 inches in diameter and 1.75 inches high. It is slightly flared on one end. Thanks.

i also worked on a farm were the owners used team draft horses and had horses mule donkeys and pony's
