we got into field they finally harvested - lots of goodies been found here over the last 30 yrs = including tree coins
we arrived early and found no fresh foot prints - yeah
I got a musketball ball right off the bat and my partner got a small whole knee buckle circa early 1700s
so we thought we were going to get some good stuff ---- not
best for me - more musketballs and another 1600s ballister & seal spoon handle (Im getting quite the collection of these)
best for him the small buckle and pieces from other 1700s larger buckles and a few musketballs
what a let down - but could have been worse - I do like finding period musketballs
the barrel shaped one is what we call an "indian ball"- ive explained them before in other posts

Casper you do it all, That's what I like about this hobby, you can change it up by water/beach hunting, field/relic hunting and then coin shooting on permissions and public lands. I would have to guess that Beach/water hunting is your favorite though. Am I correct?
