Well two days in a row I've found a big penny. King Edward VII coins are a little harder to find as he was only King for 10 years or so. Lots of work for a penny yet again....and the silver & gold drought continues.

Some kind of heel thing with part of the leather still attached.

Silver spoon hallmark.

Assorted things and the usual flat button which I thought was a coin until I looked at it carefully.

2 spoons found together.

100 pound door or something that the wife does not want in or near the house.

I'm not sure if it's part of a stove but I guess what else could it be? It is really heavy and not just thin cast like other stove parts I've found there. The wife still doesn't see the "beauty" in it....says it's junk!

I found one of those pennies last week, way down here in the Southern half of the 48. Unfortunately, the date was worn off. It was sitting on top of the ground.

I also found a 1891 British Queen Victoria cent this past Saturday. It was deep green from being in the ground. I think that it was missed by others because it rang in like a zinc penny. I also found a bunch of nickels. My guess is that they were all assumed to be junk and skipped over.

She doesn't see the beauty of that door? :laughing7: My wife would probably be the same way. I think it looks cool though!

I think it looks awesome and it will find it's way to the man cave eventually....she's not allowed to enter the "sanctum sanctorum" of the cave.

Wow, nice, I didn't even see that. Would help if there was something to scale it to. I wonder if it went to a safe?

Yeah, I must be crazy, but the first thing that popped into my head was "that stove side is beautiful" .
Matter of fact so is the penny!
