I made it out to downtown Phoenix for a hunt on Monday and had a nice array of keepers and clad. I had a first for me, I found a token spill with 2 different tokens in the same hole. Both were from the 1930's, a slot machine amusement token and an Arizona 5 mil sales tax token. I was able to recover 1944 mercury dime, 1944d war nickel, and an old native American silver bracelet broken and missing a piece. Also 11 Wheats from 1919 to 1958, a 1 mil Arizona tax token circa 1930's, and a pile of clad with no picture of the clad. Also a cheap kids ring, 5 cent play money, a child of God pin, and a marble. The war nickel was a real mess until I used electrolysis on it. It has a gold look, but it is just the way the light was reflecting off it. Thanks for looking and good luck out there. We were out for about for about 6 hours and got caught in the big hailstorm coming back to Apache Junction. 1/2 inch of hail on the roads through Mesa. I was pleased with the finds.

Nice job, congrats! :occasion14:

I wish I was out there detecting with you lived in A for a few years. Great hunt my friend

A little different than digging in central PA but still nice finds.

Congrats on a nice hunt.

If you come out, we could have a great time detecting together. I think you said before you lived here for some time, Tommy.

You don't find the older things like back in Pa, but it is still fun with some unique finds. And there is no frozen ground and snow.

As I said, there isn't the older colonial artifacts and coins but still some nice keepers.

Very nice hunt!!! Your tax tokens are so much cooler than the Colorado tax tokens! Im glad you got some silver and a nice marble.

Killer finds as always my friend. Keep up the good work and enjoy the sunlight for the rest of us!
