I had a really fun day out detecting with my Mojave. I set the sensitivity at its max and set the discrimination just high enough to discriminate out a nail. The little Injun was running as smooth as silk. I started my grid search at a early fifties house that I had permission to detect.

My plan was to go over the site with my Mojave and dig all the targets that I could find before going back over the site again with my F75. It was a great plan but I ran out of steam before I could even finish up removing all the targets with my Mojave. Normally I go first with the F75 and then go back over the site again with the Mojave.

Anyway, I ended up finding a silver War Nickel, 2 Rosie dimes, 12 wheat pennies and a bunch of clad coins. I had my sights set on a gold ring, but there wasn't one there to find. If one had been there I'd found it!

I'm having way too much fun with my Mojave!

Does Tesoro pay you for these write ups?

Sure seems like it...

Awesome hunt!
I got a Mojave yesterday, and I have to agree that "fun" describes it better than anything else. It's the first beep-dig since the Bounty Hunter Junior i had 6 years ago :)

Thanks! The weather was just right.

Thanks! Gold usually pops up when you least expect it to.

I wish they would! Get yourself a Mojave and you'll be singing praises as well.

Nice hunt.
Thanks! I get lucky every once in awhile.

Thanks! Detecting is suppose to be 'fun' and the Mojave delivers lots of it! It's so additive!
