Miguel and I headed back up to the Comstock to see what we could find. Found a mine and mill I hadn't seen before, but not much there besides modern trash.

After spending a while there we ended up going back to a spot that has produced things in the past.
No coins, unfortunately, but I ended up with:
a silver pocket watch bezel,
various clothing fasteners,
a pocket knife,
a small medicine vial,
a mine tag,
a clay marble,
and some random junk.

Now where are those coins hiding? :icon_scratch:

That part of the clock looks very clean. You did a very good job.

Coongratulations on all your intersting finds. Appreciate your sharing with us all.

Congratulations on another good hunt. The SINGER piece looks like part of a drawer pull from a singer treadle machine. Also the small bullet looks a lot like a civil war colt pistol round. I can’t be sure without a better look, but I do believe it is an oldie. The silver pocket watch frame is a very nice find as well.

Stay safe, good luck and keep swingin.

I like the Stronghold Steves. Any relation to Dapper Dan? 😄

Thanks for the ID on the Singer piece. That bullet looks exactly like the one in a live .32rf cartridge I found a couple of weeks ago.
I have a couple of civil war .32rf revolvers also.
