Virginia City Area Hunt

Yesterday's hunt with Conito@55 produced some cool old stuff, including:
an old straight razor,
3 Chinese cash coins,
several bullet cartridges,
buttons and other clothing fasteners,
some kind of container top (any help ID'ing would be appreciated),
a blasting cap,
part of a pocket knife,
and some thin ornamental pieces.

This buckle has a patent date of 1856:

This is what I came up with researching the cash coins:

Even though the US coins didn't show up for the party, we had a pretty good time clamoring around the mountains!

Even though no US coins appeared, the relics often have the cool factor.
The suspender is very nice, beats a grubby copper anyday.
I dig very few Chinese coins out this way.
So we'll dug on your adventure.

The “container top” is actually the saddle piece that was attached on the bamboo shaft of an opium pipe. The charger bowl sat atop that brass saddle piece.
