Another Joplin Trade Token!!

Just wanted to post this for all the token lovers (E.H. JARRETT - STAG BAR - 1501 MAIN ST. - JOPLIN, MO.) it has just about everything you could want on it except for the word "SALOON" Never get tired of digging these

Steve--this token was long before that connotation came into being. But, yes, in the Pre-Prohibition days, many, if not most, localities had ordinances against women and youngsters in saloons, contrary to what we saw on Gunsmoke.
