this goes onlong with my other thread. has a eagle on it with looks like arrows in his feet. Has least one word on bak cant make it out but im thinking it says woodville thats the lil town i was n.came from a abanded home site i was at.oh and srry bout the sideways pic lol im new at this.And i broke the bak of it trying to clean it to see wutg it was btw. it was all intact. It's a army button , not civil war era button but WW2ish,

That US Great Seal button was used from 1902-present. You'll need to read the backmark to narrow it down further. It doesn't say Woodville. Possibly Scovill.

Here are some backmarks. They may help you to read yours. If it says Scoville in any fashion, that would narrow it down to 1902-1960.
