Another old Shotgun Casing I found metal detecting in the field behind my house I tried soaking it in white distilled vinegar and table salt it cleaned the green off of it but turned it pink anybody recognize this brand does anybody have an idea on how old this is

It says Western Field 12 on it if you can't make it out there was probably a No of course on the left side it don't seem to be there anymore I think I may have went a little overboard on the distilled white vinegar I need to mix half water in it next time of course I'm no expert on cleaning brass

western field was Wards sporting goods brand, they sold hunting and outdoor goods under that name. All were rebranded.
