🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Another piece from the grove. Buckle?

Not sure what this is,looks to be a buckle of some sort but it's very thin. Any ideas? Came out of a grove that's been un use since early 1800s. Never a dull moment there! Always come home with something odd. Love it

Part of a suspender buckle/clip. The ears are bent outwards on it but were originally 90º to the face.
