another Real or Fake

my 13 year old neighbor found this "coin" in his grandma's yard. she lives just east of Gainesville and just north of Ocala. its on a pretty big lake. it weighs 20.6 grams and its not magnetic. any help would be appreciated. thanks, smokey

I'm not informed enough to give you an opinion but if you post this in the "What Is It?" forum you'll get more people looking at it.
 
If I found that I'd need a trip to the emergency room.
 
If it is suppose to be a 'piece of eight', it's too light at 20 grams; should be 27 grams.
And if it is suppose to represent 4 reales, it's too heavy; should be about 13 grams.
IMO, it's a fake.

Just from the picture, it looks like brass. Based off of the color/discoloration. Perhaps take it to a jeweler an have them test the purity. Then you would know immediately if it is worth anything.
 
It's as fake as a porn star's climax....
