Got invited by CCDAMEEK to hunt it again. Didn't get any silver today but did find a ring and the assorted bullets shells and headstamps. A few whatsits hit the bag too.
The ring was so dirty we couldn't see it had a stone until I cleaned it...looks like turquoise. The ring appears to have been gold plated. Mostly toast now.

Here's one of the whatsits. Anybody got a clue? Whoever twisted it, did a fine job. Looks to be soldered or welded together. Thought I had a bracelet or necklace when it was in the hole but too small for a necklace and too big for a bracelet. Think it's brass. Roughly 4" in diameter.
