Dug this today in the woods behind an 1800s house i hunt a lot. I also dug an Enfield bullet near it today. It appears to be copper and is very thin. It also has a small tab which makes me think it was attached to something else. Any ideas?

Thats similar but this is one is really thin. I could bend it. It had to be mounted onto something else i think.

Union pacific railroad uses that shield as their emblem, but where the stars are is the name instead. The shield isn't the same after a second look the top is different.
