I was thinking preform also. Little small for an adz in my opinion.

A Pre-form, maybe, but the hafting edge is bifacial as well - its a complete artifact..., and a Type Style, I'm not familiar with up here...,
and the West Coast boarders along Calif; Ore; and Wa states.

He is referring to the west coast of Florida--the coast that borders the Gulf of Mexico. With few exceptions, the knife and arrowhead preforms I'm familiar with here in the SE are bifaced along all edges.

Tdog is correct and I'm sorry for the confusion. That's Florida, the other west coast...
