Went to the old city high school today for a while. I discovered that someone had gone there right before me. It was someone that left holes uncovered again, so I spent time again covering holes. The ring was under a fence laying on top of the ground that has been washed out a bit. It was black and I thought it was trash when I first saw it, but when I rubbed it, the silver came through. The ring was once under the ground I believe, because the elaborate work on the rind was packed with dirt. The egyptian hieroglyph was deep, about 11". the medallion seems heavy and weighs 4gr. Thanks for looking!
