Any appraisers / authenticaters

I have a good size collection of artifacts , most are personal finds with my father going way back.
A few were purchased and may not be local area pieces and a couple obvious fakes
Looking for some one to sort through and help ID
Anyone have info to help

I would recommend Jim Bennett. He the the means and resources to appraise large collections and will even auction them off for you.

You could also post some pictures on here for us to look at. We have quite a few people on here who have collected most of their lives.

It depends what you want to do. You don’t really need COA’s, and unless you need a certified appraisal for insurance, the cost of having someone come out and formally ID and appraise a collection can be expensive. Even if it’s only a couple of bucks a point, it can add up to thousands.

If you are looking for some general ideas, maybe post some pictures of items and see what feedback you get here.

Authenticators...Certificate of Authenticity...meh. Most aren't worth the paper they're written on. Don't get me started! Gary
