Any day with a ring can't be all bad.

I think I'm beginning to like hunting places where there's a lot of variety in the finds. You know like a modern school where the ground had been a farm, so the possibility of old is always there. But, all the modern action keeps the clad well stocked, even some jewelry.

You're pretty sure what the target is going to be but there are those nice little surprises that keeps this hobby fun. Sure, I would rather have my variety center around years before 1900, but can't have everything huh. ;)

Anyway, tried a new school grounds today. Here's the take:

Interesting! Man in armor? :)
Really more substantial than it looks.
Almost 48 grams.

Don'tcha just LOVE it when they cooperate like this? ;)

Isn't wonderful when you look down in the hole and see this looking back? :)

Even when they don't turn out to be much, they are still a lot of fun! :)

I think it says INDIA inside but it is EXTREMELY light. I expect aluminum. Still pretty though.

Thanks for peeking!

Great stuff. I think the armored knight is actually Boba Fett from the Star Wars franchise.

That's the one thing that puzzles me on this ring. For something as extremely light as this, it was much deeper than I would expect, about 6 inches. I guess it might have been deposited in some land movement during building. :dontknow:

I'm pretty sure it's aluminum.

Thanks!

I think Boba is too far gone to be valuable. You have never seen Star Wars? It is the Wizard of Oz of my generation!

Yeah, I suspect he's a bit "over the hill". LOL

And, nope, never seen Star Wars. I'm trying to be the only one on the planet who has never viewed. ;)

Thanks!
