there old but very common i actually was watching a video yesterday that showed them in it the exact ones. they said they where for animals and such not hundred percent sure.

Different than colonial croatal bells and surely old (19th century), but in any event, they are quite beautiful.

I am not sure what the difference is, but I also found some bells called tiger bells, I thought they looked very similar to mine. The one on eBay looked to be more modern and I may be wrong but it looks like two pieces put together around the ringer thing. Both of mine are one piece, when I download the photoe from eBay and compared them side by side there were many differences. I would love to learn more about colonial croatal bells so if you feel like sharing more, I would love to learn. If you don't feel like sharing more, I will google it! Thank you again for sharing your knowledge.

i think your is more older but yet i think there the same like you said the one on ebay is probaly more modern but i think it put you on the track of researching what i found maybe you can find when they where first made or manufactured

i found a sterling silver bell that sells around 55 dollars but i wont sell it cause i love my finds i have them all put up in a chest
