Any idea what these could be at the low tide mark?

Went out yesterday to a site where I have seen rusty stains on the rocks when the low tide uncovers them. I found many of the pins or bolts wedged in the rocks but these were lying in the rocks

I also found the 4 foot long flat bar with holes every 6 inches or so and one at the end. I don't think it is a sliver from a trailer spring but it looks a bit like that?

It looks to me like maybe a plate that holds wood planks together. It is clearly wreckage on the beach but anyone have any ideas about age? The pins are 8 inches long or so.

I was glad to clear this off the beach as trash anyway if its not wreckage.

The 4 foot long bar with holes every 6 inches is a sign post. I found one just like it.

Thanks Hawk,

I have been out since and found a steel container that looks a bit like a tankard without the handle.

I'll post a photo if I can it looks a bit like a steel pestle container.

The four foot long flat bar- could it be the shank of an anchor? The hole up top reminds me of the part the ring goes through. Just a thought. Looks like you were out havin fun!

Frisco,

Thanks for the heads up, I'll look around where I found it for other bits of a possible anchor perhaps
