I dug this about 2 hours ago . It was about 12" down . MD was jumping around reading a 68 to 88 at 10" . I have no idea what it is . Any help is appreciated .

looks rather like a piece to a door knocker...a simple guess...alternative might be frame to a dream catcher

Looks like it hung on a chain. I've seen similar pieces on backyard swingsets.

Looks like old locking key ring. The ring links over each other just to the left of the point at bottom. Is it wider there?
