Any Ideas ?

This is an interesting find. I think it's some sort of early dress pin. The s shape of the pin is not plough damage, but made that way. I found it a few years ago in Lincolnshire England. The front of the object is silvered or tinned. Think it could be of some age.

Wow!! awesome find my friend...While I cannot identify it, I can confirm that - yes it has A LOT of age to it, probably more than we think, due to the archaic design and the fact that any design and/or emblems are long gone. Good luck with the search! that certainly is a cool find...ddf
