Not for sale, I merely seek information. This P.08 is marked as made by DWM (Deutsche Waffen und Munitionsfabriken), 1915 with wooden grips
What are the markings on the side of it? I know they're related to Imperial Germany, and they seem to have "SCS" with each letter under the Imperial crown. I know the 2nd photo stinks, but if you know of a link that shows what these marks are, that's what I'm looking for.
Anything you know (including value) would be appreciated.
Thanks -Ben

Thanks Mike. That seems like it should have been the perfect site, but I'm not finding a match yet. Again, thanks, and I'm going to try to get a better photo.
Thank you too Stoney!

After careful scrutiny, I say that it is Page2 #15. Those markings are specific to DWM Lugers from 1914-1918. That is yours I believe.

Best-Mike

Contact these people, they are VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE on guns. I have my father P.08 Luger and it was made during 1914-1918.
I will haev to check it to see if it has simular markings. I haven't looked at it in quite sometime. I generally take all my b=guns out once every 6 months to clean them. I did have mine appraised by a well know gun collector here in Texas. Of course he offered to buy it from me, but I to AM NOT selling it. He sis appraise it for around $7,000-$8200 dollars. It would haev been worth more if my father had not reblued it in 1969. I will get it out and post some pics tomorrow.
