Any places in Manteo N.C. or the Outerbanks?

Are there any places in Manteo NC or the OuterBanks of NC to hunt? I heard there was a Fort in Manteo but never was able to find a location to hunt. And yes I know there are the beaches. Is all the beach past Organ Inlet off limits? It's a wildlife perserve and I was told no metal detectors allowed. Anyone informed please let me know i plan a trip.

Well I found out you can hunt the beaches untill the turn to Organ Inlet from there on it's a no go, they take your detector and the car that brought you there then it's a $5,000 fine if convicted. Manteo is protected also.
