A lost silver mine is located in the Gauley river section of Fayette county. A union payroll was hidden when attacked near Chapmansville,WV. In 1928, while playing horseshoes, Punch Jones picked up a 34.46 carat diamond in Peterstown,WV. It is the largest diamond ever found on US soil. Good Luck. rockhound
