Anybody Know What Coin Carrier

Anybody Know What Coin Carrier these might be from. I picked up 7 un-open machine rolls from a Cite Bank on Saturday. The seven were dropped off by one of their regular customers, but the teller did not know where he gets them from. I found 5 40%'ers and want like to find out where these rolls are from. I have not seen them before. Thanks John HH

Those look like the ones I get from banks that use Brinks.

Very common around these parts.. looks like a Brinks/Loomis wrapper

Those are brinks wrappers usually WF&BOA have that style, Chase brinks look the same but actually say "Brinks" on the wrapper.

Dunno why they're different but they are for some reason.

thats true Bentfork, it may be that Wells and BOA process their own at their central cash vaults and Brinks is just the courrier, but for Chase they may process and be the courrier.

These banks all have their own cash vault and use their own carriers to sort and deliver. It's really up to the carriers to decide what they want to use for wrappers.

Looks like brinks wrapper but missing brinks stamp. All boxes i get from brinks has the brinks stamp on them

The Brinks boxes those rolls come in have instructions on how to open/use the plastic shrink-wrap style wrappers. I think the shrink-wrap equipment isn't set up for doing halves, so they use generic paper machine wrappers - probably the best way to identify the carrier is to get some other denomination from the same bank.

These are not the same color as Brinks wrappers. The only Brinks labeled wrappers I've gotten were brown and said Brinks. I have gotten wrappers like this from a Citibank, but wasn't a customer so couldn't buy the whole box. Hopefully now that I am a customer and will hopefully be placing some orders for boxes with them I'll get clued in by the box itself, which I did not see when I was able to buy a partial.

Good gosh, that's the nicest job EVER for unwrapping a roll! Hopefully you just did it for a pic otherwise you'd never get through too many boxes.

(And for the record, I razz my wife for saving and folding tissue paper at Christmas too!!!)

Nope.... Not just for scan. I open and re-roll my halves like this all the time (just one end normally). I am guilty of searching while driving home from work, one hour trip, I go through a box (when my teller remembers to order my boxes). I re-roll because the TD machines around here have a tendency to short me a few dollars each time I dump (either stuck in reject shoot, like this morning $2.50 short, or just flat our short me). I find it easier to state my case if I can show the wraps to the teller helping me.

Those white with bronzish gold alternating box/stripe ended wrappers used to be common in the 5X10 Garda boxes from many months ago. Back when I was still finding silver in them that is... Now the Garda boxes coming in are full of white rolls with solid black stripes on both ends. The rolls in the Brinks boxes I've bought had brown stripes, not bronzish gold.

yeah-these are the exact same color ones that are in my posting yellow and white paper or brown and white paper rolls of halfs on 7-09-11 i never really looked that close at them but i guess they are actually bronze color.but some other people here knew what i was talking about.i'm to the point of where i'm tired of having gone through boxes of these and not finding anything.unless the customer that dropped them at your bank rerolled them.i think some new people to the hobby are'nt aware of the 40s they just look for the 90s i'm going to ask the teller this week what armor car service they use.because i just dont seem to ever find anything.if i do find anything i have more luck with the yellow and white paper rolls from other banks.just my experience HH-nomad
