Got out to a park and a local high school field this morning. Besides 75 cents in clad, I found a few interesting items. 2 are whatzits.
The first is a garter snap. Initially I wondered what kind of ladies had been hanging around the park field. But my research finds it is for men. It is a Boston Garter Velvet Grip hose (socks) supporter snap. It has a patent date of 12-13-(18)92.

Right after that, I found what looked like a foldered over thin copper coin the size of a penny. The ACE 250 rang out as a penny/dime over it. I got home and carefully opened the disc. It appears to be some kind of token. It hsa an indian head in the center. The only text I can read is "WOOD" in front of the indian's forehead and the letter "N" (possibly "NI") behind indian's feather head dress. Any ideas? Looks like play money or something.

UPDATE: After lots of research, I believe this is a play coin. It appears to say WOODEN NICKEL across the top and possibly PLAY COIN across the bottom. I found one play coin that seems to have the same font and similar style graphic. It says: THIN DIME - PLAY COIN.

The last interesting item was some kind of aluminum tag/seal. I can read "MASS "?". C." on one side. The other has a serial number of 96236. Have no idea what it is.
