Anyone Around Lafayette?

Hi all. I'm just starting to MD. I've been hunting the local parks learning the "ART"
of treasure hunting..... I'm interested in meeting some local MDer's or maybe a club.
Is there anyone in the area on this forum? I pretty sure my favorite park has been
cleaned out of the old stuff, so I guessing it has been detected hard in the last 40 years
by another local.....I just have never seen another MDer in this very historic part of Indiana!

Might be something they missed. Bound to be some neat stuff around the rivers thru those parts, not sure if access is easy or not around there. Always think about making the not-so-bad drive down there to try my luck.

I just had my first silver in that park .925 female ring with three stones,
still nothing old though. this park used to be a county/city school built sometime around 1850.
I think this silver will keep me hunting here.
There are many public lands along the Wabash here. and in old districts of town. After a Winter researching
at the historical society there are some great looking sites......though I've yet to prove they are.
