Detecting with Dogs, your opinion wanted.

achanceforgold, I don't have a detector to run a test, but I am curious if the Frequencies they use, can be directed with Styrofoam.
I wonder if a coil is covered with 2 inch Styrofoam, will the frequency used, be directed down only, thus increasing depth reception?
The Frequencies I use, can be directed, why not those.
Well bad news, the guy running the metal detector competition refused to bury the silver i supplied.
Wanted to use tokens and hand out the silver as prizes.

The dog is trained to ignore common metal like aluminum.

But anyways,
@dowser
We went to an old gold mining site before the rain came in. Chance didn't detect anything.
But i noticed him acting strange and looking at something. Chance is trained to ignore other animals in the woods, squirrels, deer, etc.
if he sees an animal too close. he just sits and watches.

This wasn't that. He saw something or sensed something. He would stop, stare, not sit, just stare. possibly your frequency lines. I don't know.
It was weird. I would compare it to him seeing a ghost or something.
I wish we could talk, and I could explain exactly what we are looking for and he could tell me what he is scent detecting and sensing...lol
But he had the greatest time. he must have done ten zoomies in the woods yesterday.

I think he was just too excited to do any real detecting yesterday.
Lot of new smells and things to explore.

Every target or object, and us, are a draining frequency. Draining into the Quantum side at one second intervals.. The door to the spirit/quantum side is opening and closing continuously.
Certain strong frequencies allow spirits to escape.
Dangerous strong frequencies can be Dowsed specifically and located, your dog might be sensing a real bad frequency drain, or possible a good frequency of some kind..
So far I know Element frequencies, then I found 3 Frequencies that aren't elements..
One of those is a Master key in frequency, one is a Master out, and one is a Crucifix frequency..
Was he looking towards a Church?
I don't understand them very much but sure I'll contact you .

this was deep in the woods, up on a hill.
in a forested area.
Nothing around for miles.
we walked about 3 to 4 miles into the forest. to what should have been an old gold mine site.
I'm not positive it was. It's on a trail through a nature preserve.

stood there looking in curiosity. several times.

I broke his concentration by commanding a search.

Back 20 yrs, before microwave interference, I used one piece L-rods, bent hangers worked.
I could Sense or feel certain connection lines in my gut, Solar plexus I think it's called. Smaller targets no, but large or distant large targets, create more of a frequency draw or connection..

Now I have to use swivel rods, I'm disconnected from any feeling on line strength. I watch my rods for signal interpretation.

Could be the Dog is feeling/sensing a strong connection/draw, that direction.

that's what i was thinking.
he was sensing something over there.
it was definitely something not close. in the distance.

Yesterday was really his first off leash search.
I normally keep him on a leash and pattern search.
But I am starting to train for off leash away from me.
Like the ATF does on their dogs on the S.E.E.K program.

He can move a lot faster and scan a larger area without dragging me along.

To help you test the Dog, order Bloodwood and make a set of rods..
Many shapes and lengths work for Antenna, not all..
Incorporate 3", or 11", or 17", or 37" in rod lengths or shapes, for best results..

The Pentagon shape with bends at 3 inches, is all that's needed, and definitely works/receives better than my other shapes and sizes..

Maybe being off a lease for the first time it was sensing something but not wanting to go to far from you.

That's correct!

If he would get out of my sight behind some bushes or trees, he would come running back to make sure I was still there.

Chance is a rescue dog, they found him and his brothers and sisters in the woods in Darlington SC. I got him when he was about 14 months old. He had never seen the inside of house and had no discipline. I wanted a dog that had some basic training. But they pushed him on me. they had to get rid of him or "Get rid of Him." He was a wild child when i got him. Didn't know anything and no discipline. Destroyed half the house the first week.

During the hurricane last year, the shelter got flooded with dogs. Not just strays. They were overwhelmed.

I think I was his first real constant human interface, and he acts like I'm his mom, his dad, his everything.

But he had a fantastic time being in the woods again. Dog Heaven

I have long pondered this. Gold does not give off any scent, but silver does. The good thing is most gold jewelry is an alloy of gold and silver. Rose gold is gold and copper.

You will never be able to teach your dog to find nuggets, but you can teach it to find silver and copper, thus finding the gold in the process.

it's actually not the metal itself they scent detect.
it's sulfide of the metal and in nature, Gold sulfide is bonded to gold nuggets.
It is not water soluble. So even in a creek or stream it will emit an odor.

Silver sulfide, tarnish, gives off a strong scent. You might be able to smell that. I can't

Chance scent detects natural gold nuggets all the time.
here is a couple of small nuggets Chance can scent detect.

Your dog could do it too. It basically the same training used by drug scent detection dogs.
And dogs can distinguish the different metal sulfides, the same as they can distinguish the different scents drugs give off.
They are called prospecting dogs have been being used since the 1960's.

correct sir

This is how I understand it.

this is a geologist explaining it.
I'm no chemist or geologist.

But it definitely appears to be working.
I'm still learning how to train him and doing a lot of testing.
I've eliminated my scent and also used my scent on everything.
Both ways. He picks the gold.
I have put plenty of distraction scents that he has avoided.

Some people choose dowsing, others electromagnetic signals from metal detectors, some may have other methods.
I chose a dog for me. For me it's a heck of a lot more fun to be with me dog. I can't hear the different tones of a metal detector.
Dowsing seems like a difficult art to learn for me.

My dog is easy. "Search" ... "Good Boy!"
