Too cold and snowy to get out and dig. Even if it got warm the ground is rock hard. I'm gonna go crazy!!! Well I am going to get a brief respite from this weather. I'm headed to my Florida home at the end of the week. Even if I hunt the beach and find nothing I'll be happy just to get outside to play!

I sure wish I had a Florida home to go to....stir crazy don't fully describe how poorly I handle winter....LOL!! Today I was driving around looking at south facing slopes and getting excited because I could start seeing some grass.....I said it before, this is not a hobby it is a darn obsession!!

Good luck on the beach!!

Yep, even my cats :-\ But the 10 degree's didn't stop me from taking my 5 mile walk at 7:30 this morning >:(

I live in northern Maryland in a little valley. Up here they call it CABIN FEVER.
In my younger days the heat got to me. Now its the cold. I like the 70's as my favorite temperature. Cabin time is best for research. In the past 2 weeks I have digested 24 old treasure mags. I entered all the old stories into my files. When the wheather warms I have 2 big $1m caches to hunt. I verified the events happened, the people lived and died and ran sat pictures of both sites to show they were undeveloped. I am also lining up some more 200 year old yards to hunt. I started doing that to get the historical items to conserve, but with the find of the 3ct ruby ring, I find there may be some profit in it also. Actually I think I am just anxious to hop in the Motor home and take off on another adventure! Frank

I was going nuts but finally the lakes froze enough to get out and fish. I think ill be ok till it gets too mushy to walk on.
