Nokta Makro Legend ( 6", 11", and 13x13.5" coils)
Ancient Garret Groundhog AM-2
After doing a little reading it seems most precious and semi-precious stones glow under short wave UV light. It also seems that gems are often found in gold baring areas. My though is this: A deep-cycle battery, power inverter, and a few extension cords mounted on a dolly, roll it out to the old mine tailings at night, and see if anything lights up. I've got everything I need already except the light, and it's on it's way via e-bay.
Has anyone ever tried this? Does anyone have any thoughts?
Thanks,
Zym
