If you can attend any of their meetings, you'll meet folks, learn what's being found around there, etc... It'll probably be a mix of nugget enthusiasts (go figure, you're right near the nugget regions) and coin/relic enthusiasts. Tell "Ron" that Tom in Salinas said "hi"

Hi Tom, thanks. Yes, hopefully soon I will be joining them. Have wanted to for a while, but no car at the moment, hopefully in January I'll have one though. And I will say "hi" to Ron from you.

hi, im in carmichael ca. by looking at your interests you are interested in the same things i am lol. i love doing all those things too. im in the process of getting my own metal detector but for now im borrowing one till i get mine
