Sorry, I found these in my yard, central Florida. Lakeland, in between Tampa and Orlando.

One of the ingredients of that rock may be iron sulfide (pyrite) or iron oxides (iron ores). I'm not 100% sure but I think that may be why you picked them up.

Maybe some type of slag from an old furnace. Iron oxides are not necessarily magnetic and some slags are heavy. Considering its in Florida that would be my best guess as there are no known sources for what your showing known to me.
