Anyone hunted Rockport?

We are headed to Rockport for our first time beach hunting. Has anyone been there Any suggestions gladly accepted.

The public beach at Rockport is hunted almost on a daily basis year around rain or shine. Right now the winter Texans are checking it to be sure we didn't leave anything. I have hunted it quite a few times on the beach in in the water and about all I have found is a few clads and plastic toys the kids leave behind. The good thing about it is that the facilities are great, it's easy reach and there is lots and lots of really nice sand. Happy hunting.
