Greetings:

I found this old button in a field across from an old railway station. It is made of brass and heavily corroded with some kind of light colored stuff. It was bent in half but I was able to straighten it without breaking it.
I looked on the Web for a couple of hours without success. It is probably British or Canadian.

Here it is:

Any help anyone can give me will be appreciated greatly. Love this forum and all the help you can get here.

Good Hunting.

I forgot to mention that the button is or was at one time 3/4 inches in diameter. I didn't find the back just some rusty debris.

Thanks
