Wow, that thing is encrusted! Looks cool, though. No idea, maybe early 20th century? 1900-1915? Just a guess.

Wow not sure of the age, but I found a rusted lock a while ago in a place that used to be a shop in the 1960's....

I remember in the 60's when we used similar types of locks though..... Great find all the same, and dont take my word for it, see what the others say. [I have been wrong before ]

Here is the information on your lock:

Manufacturer Eagle, 8 Lever Mastadon
Materials Used Brass case and shackle
Size 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" x 9/16"
Date Early 1900's
Type of Keyway Double bit post
Operating Mechanism 8 levers, levers act as latch
approx Value in working order $15.00

The case of this padlock consists of a formed front and back held together by rivets. Some of these were made of steel and some brass.
