✅ SOLVED Anyone recognize this copper/brass grate?

[Crispin]

Pulled this from the Gulf this morning. It was completely black when it came out. Cleaned up with Nitric Acid pretty well.

Part of a harmonica.

[Spats]

Not sure what it is but not part of a harmonica unless it only plays one note IMO.

That would be a whopper of a harp. Could it be part of a floor ventd2

[ARC]

Drain grate.

Tis bronze from the look of it... would be from a ship/boat imo.

[Anduril]

I agree with AARC on this one.... some sort of drain cover, possibly from a boat.

Hmmm. Interesting... does it look modern or old? We have been kicking around the idea of an old shipwreck in the area but haven't found any significant.

Nice name. "Flame of the West!"

Small old boat drain cover. You are awful ruff on you tape measure

The retract button doesn't work so he folds it up.

Had a fun hunt today, and Crispin got the silver once again(different post)~ and I was skunked...
