✅ SOLVED Thin copper hinged case with design

The site could be from 1950 to 1880??
It's copper with a delicate hinge(which I broke opening it up!). There is fine decorative design. It's very thin when folded.
The dimensions are about 4" x 2" x 1/8" or less, it's so flat that maybe only a few business carts would stack in there. Copper, art- deco design on one side, and a square patter symbol on the other. Inside is pretty clean.

Can it hold a piano? A teaspoon?

It looks like a case for eyeglasses. Or maybe a pipe case.
But if it is four foot long probably not.

It's so dang thin when closed. I think only a few business cards would fit. It's quite flat when folded

That's what I thought at first, bit it's only 1/8" or less think when folded,

That looks more like it, but my case is even more flat. I will inspect the inside for signs of mounting a mirror. Give me a few and I will post more pictures.

I'm quite certain that this is a vintage business card holder made of copper with some embossing and art deco design on back. I have yet to identify the year, but the site was a homestead that was leveled in the early 50's. Could be as old as turn of the C.
