This mini car is titled as a 1951 Crosley. I want to restore it but I need to see another for a pattern. There are some added features that are not stock. The hood ornament. The front bumper. The steering wheel has been raised. The head lights were added as well as the signal lights. The engine has been changed to a 18hp Briggs. Behind the seats, there is a strip of metal that was cut out to make more room for the driver. The back is humped like a midget racer. It has a differential. Drive line with a brake drum for brakes. It has a typical transmission with a stick shift. I have been surfing the internet for weeks trying to find another like it. All; help is appreciated. Thanks, Bill

I spent quite a lot of time researching this car. Wow! Who knew there were so many micro/mini car makers in the post WWII era.
I've looked at 10 - 15 manufacturers, maybe more, and haven't seen any body style that is similar to this car. Certainly nothing with a boat-tail (except midget racers).

I even scrolled through the way back pages of some early 50's Popular Mechanics and Popular Science magazines. Nada...

I'm still thinking this is a homemade body titled using whatever numbers were on the parts.

I wonder if you could find out who titled it originally... Maybe he was some auto or steel industry welder who missed his calling.

I will say that what I can see of the rear, it appears to be Crosley - but not the frame or the wheels.

I saw one or two crooked gear shift levers on Crosley Farm-o-Road jeeps.

The angle of the steering column is too steep to be any kind of Crosley I looked at.

I'd like to see pics of the frame and drive train. Until then, I'm done with this one.

First of all I want to thank all on this forum that has given their time, expertise, and help. I have used much of the information from this forum for my searches. I have not come up with a lot on this car. As suggested above I have provided some pictures of the undercarriage. It is a moderrn title with a modern sn tag on firewall. This car is around 7 foot by 4 foot. The original engine is gone. What has been added by the previous owner is the front bumper, chrome head lights, morrors, signals, wiring to help make it street legal, fuel tank in rear, seats and extended the steering column.
