Anyone use Ryedale to help search key dates?

I'm curious if Ryedale owners actually use them to speed up the searching for key dates (finding those 1909S VDBs) or do they just use them for hoarding copper? I know they don't just kickout wheaties but is anyone deploying one to get down to at least the 1982s or before?
