Areas to search for jewelery??

I have just recently been pulled into the jewelery hunting mode. I switch A LOT. So My question is to those that hunt rings at parks and recreation fields.

I know to search the area leading into a dug out at a ball field. I have also found a few rings near the goal area of soccer fields. I was wondering what other areas am I missing that usually lead to jewelery finds? Are the areas outside of the diamond good for diamonds? Like when people are milling about outside of the game. I also try to look for tell tale signs of sledding hills.

Any swimming lagoon that gets large crowds of people. Hunt the shallow water from ankle to waist deep. (got over a hundred gold rings in ankle to wast deep water over the years) I know one guy who didn't have a water machine so he mounted his control box on his shoulder so he wouldn't get his detector wet. Another great place for gold rings and pendents are the wood chip boxes/sand boxes at the elementary schools, this is especially true if your area has a large hispanic or Asian population in the schools. Asian and hispanic children tend to wear a considerable amount of 18K to 24K jewelry.
