what a beautiful day to get out. found the 5 bigger pieces with the gold bug 2, the amount of lead and bird shot was crazy.
the smaller bits with a crack vac and dry washer. 22.5 grains or 1.45 grams.

I can smell gold here in MI awesome finds that big ol nuggett is out there with your name on it

back at it this morning.
got 2 with the gold bug 2.
In situ pics with yavapai schist.
total a touch over a half gram.
would like to stay out longer but its getting
hot out, 91 or so today.

i also found 2 quartz specimens that have a good sound
to them. i forgot the bigger one out there.
ill crush the smaller one today.
