Looks like it to me I call them mortars. Should be some long Pestles near by if somebody hasnt found them yet.

Hey Terry,

They look kind of like grind holes (morteros I know it means mortar), but not a real metate (mortar). You should also be able to find some broken manos (pestle) around if it is. Usually, there are several grind holes on a large boulder. That last pic with the Bighorns looks familiar. I don't think I have seen the rock, but maybe a pic of it. Remote or popular area? Love all the glyphs!

The proper name for "grind holes" are "morteros" and the "pestle" is called a "mano".

The site is between Congress and Piedmont, to the Northwest beyond the Congress gold mine about four miles.
