Armored backplate maker's mark ID help

I got this backplate at a local antiques shop. It is lightweight and was described as 19th century vintage.
It has a maker's mark which I would like to identify. The maker's mark says "Florence" on it and looks like it has 2 trees above it. I would be grateful for any help in identifying the mark.
