Army Canteen ?

Picked this up today for 1 buck.
The cover looks legit.
The canteen has Made in Japan stamped into the bottom.






Holds water..makes me happy.

I think that is ww2ish. I have one from my grandpa who fought in ww2, but not 100% it is the one he had during ww2 or surplus.

More likely Korean War if made in Japan. Probably a project from the Marshall plan to give Japanese industry something to make after WW2
