Arrowhead?

Arrowheads are pretty unknown to me. I know there are many types and had many uses. I found this while gold panning in South Dakota and kept it thinking it may be an arrowhead. Any information is appreciated!

Unfortunately just a deceptive-looking (at first glance) stone.

Look around here to get a sense of what points &c. look like.

looks like an agate to me

I'd say it's a piece that cracked off a quartzite vane via natural forces.
