Artifacts or my imagination? am i on the right track?

[rockgoblin]

Hello, I'm new to identifying stone tools, and i think i found an area that's producing artifacts, however i have a very strong imagination so i could use some help! Any input will be much appreciated.

I vote artifacts. Left top, the first two appear to be pottery.

Post better pictures of top 2 on left.. Others look natural from picture posted..

Are these edges too finely jagged to be pressure flaked? View attachment 1269985

[The Grim Reaper]

Can we see pictures of the back of the two pieces that might be Pottery? Also a view of the edges please. Everything else looks like naturally formed stones.

I would look closer at the top right and bottom right, and get more pics.

I may be wrong but those maybe asbestos tiles.

Welcome to TNET!

Six of those black colored pieces look like waste fakes of a material that may have been used in your are (?). I can see some micro flaking on a couple of them but it is hard to tell if it was purposely done or natural. On of those does look like a micro blade though. The rest look pretty much natural, and I would have to agree with chase2 that the pottery looking pieces look a lot like weathered asbestos tiles. Don't give up, and soon or later you my just find what we all consider the rewards of ''The diligence of the hunt''.

I would be willing to bet that two of the stone pieces are artifacts

I've seen pieces like this before on the beach. It may be worn out old pieces of Asbestos shingle.

Any chance of getting a pic of the bottom left one. top and bottom? 1st photo. Looks to be secondary flaking on the edge but cant tell for sure.
